It is a joy to see an article that starts with what you preach. This is not enaything earthshattering, but the National Geographic article started with the AC technology innovated by Wills Carrier hundred years ago is at the limits of technology barriers. While I do not agree with the article's content it surely is right in pointing out the fact that incumbent companies are struggling to cost effectively meet the increasing efficiency standards and to lower the global warming potential. Most are positive economic recoveriy trends but there are some that builders have to be watchful about and those are about changing demographics, market patterns towards multi family homes, smaller houses and ofcourse the rise of global awareness towards energy conservation and preservation.
